Subject: QI Group of Companies Reaches Out to the Cambodian Red Cross 2005 QI-RYTHM Foundation made a significant donation to the Cambodian Red Cross (CRC) on 12 March 2005 in Phnom Penh at the Red Cross’ headquarters. The Chairperson of the Red Cross in Cambodia, the First Lady, H.E. Madam Bun Rany Hun Sen met with the delegation from RYTHM Foundation and QI group consisting of Mr. Aulis Juhana Makitalo, Chairman of RYTHM Foundation and Ms. Donna Imson, QUESTNET’s Regional Director for Cambodia, along with Founding Director Mr. Joseph Bismark, Mr. Richard Zinkiewicz, GOLDQUEST Managing Director, and several other directors. The delegation also presented H.E. Mrs. Hun Sen with the latest numismatic treasures by GOLDQUEST, the Angkor Wat Commemorative Coins and Classic Angkor Wat Numismatic Watch. The CRC has long been helping people at a local and national level since 1955. Now it has more than 5,778 volunteers working throughout the country, delivering more than 15 local services & programmes, mostly funded by public donation & donor support. It has a good active record in dissemination work and its key objective is to promote the movement’s fundamental principles and humanitarian values through Red Cross volunteers and Red Cross youth. Talks are currently on with the CRC to produce a coin to commemorate 50 years of the CRC (1955-2005). QI group and RYTHM Foundation have pledged to support the CRC on a long-term basis and work towards further development of Cambodia. Cambodia’s First Lady, H.E.
